Whats the future of the Surface Duo API’s | One Dev Question

[MUSIC].>>For the future of
the dual-screen APIs, you’ll be able to see those coming
soon in the platforms near you. For Android, we are
collaborating with Google to get AndroidX Support
Library APIs added. There’s a public change
list that you can already take a look at to see
what’s happening there. We are working on
enabling our emulator to let you control the
behavior of those APIs, so you can simulate
dual-screen hardware the way that you want
for your application. For the web, we’ve already published an Explainer on the APIs that
we plan on having there. For Windows, you can look to see
details on that coming soon. Generally speaking, you can take all the concepts
that you’re going to build for your applications that
apply to dual-screen devices. These APIs will just
help you deal with a platform specific
way that you implement them while keeping the same concepts in place across your application. [MUSIC]
