Sprout Social Case Study: Trello

people are trying to get things done effectively no matter where they are and here at Trello we've built a platform to do just that people who use Trello use it because they want to use Trello because they like Trello and because they're on board with what Trello does and how it thinks and how it relates to the world and that's such an awesome feeling when we're interacting with users company culture is really important to us we believe in a lot of transparency open communication I work with some just truly interesting people who are passionate about the work they do here we try and really make work fun and I think it's thing that differentiates Trello from other apps you know you can even see that with taco or spokes husky at Trello customer service and customer support is really important we always want to have a quicker turnaround time as possible I know with millions of users around the world socials great for not forcing them to leave wherever it is they live on the web and open an email client and draft a letter and wait for a response so she'll just lets you get the information to them help them and let them move on with their day and move on doing whatever it is they want to do sprout social allows us to not only identify great stories to share from the community but also allows us to build a better product by hearing and engaging from our users and better supporting them I love having everything just come through in one easy view I kind of plan out my day of content but always keep some slots available you know because I know that there's probably some really great retweets or content to share this annoys people write poems for us I'll write poems back we try to keep it really fun we want to speak to people the same way that they're speaking to us rather than having to guess whether socials been done or whether we've been able to answer or follow up on things we can see the complete button and we stop and at any point any of us can take over for any of the others we have our CEO our marketing team our support team our content team is all gets involved in how we can collaborate off the various features in sprout sometimes even just having that reassurance she's super helpful one key aspect of sprout social is using brand keywords for social listening and that enables us to kind of target and tailor and filter our feed oftentimes there will be people talking about us without necessarily tagging Trello but they'll be using the word Trello and so it's far less see those conversations which is awesome sprout makes sense for Trello because it shares that same idea of being a way to get an overview of what you're doing and to collaborate without necessarily needing to be in the same physical space so it's been super super helpful and allowing us to hit the ground running as we grow
