Hello Champions, and welcome to the Siege game mode tutorial. In the Siege game mode, your goal is to work together as a team to capture an objective point, and then either push or defend a moving payload. The first team to score 4 match points by capturing the payload and successfully pushing it, or defending against it, will win the match. To first capture an objective, you or your teammates must stand within the objective’s circular radius. However, if an enemy player is standing within the radius, the point will become contested. The point will not be captured for either team until one team is forced away or eliminated. Once you’re finally standing on the objective as a team you will begin to capture it. The first team to reach 100% on the objective will spawn a payload cart and earn one match point, which will be tallied at the top of your screen. Once the payload cart has spawned, you will need to escort it to the enemy base. As long as only friendly players are around the cart, it will continue to move down the designated path. If enemies get close to the cart, it will become contested. It will be up to you and your teammates to remove the enemy team from the payload by forcing them to retreat or eliminating them in battle. If you are successful in pushing the payload, you will earn an additional point, bringing your total for the round to 2. If you are unsuccessful, and the enemy team successfully defends, they will earn a point. The round will then end, teleporting players back to their base, and a new round will begin. Both teams will fight to control the initial objective. This process will repeat each round until one team reaches 4 points to win the game. However, it’s important to note that Siege cannot be won on defense. To win, you either need to push your payload successfully, or capture the objective to earn your fourth and final point.
