well back here in South Texas every Monday during the summer the kids at the Hopkins library they study science and today the kids are learning the various components of a desktop computer and it’s all part of the stream program focusing on science technology and reading the philosophy is that when a child can visualize and get their hands on a computer component it will be more easily recognizable when they meet may need to identify a particular part later on most kids probably haven’t seen inside a Commuter to know what a motherboard looks like what the CPU looks like what a ram looks like what the district that this changer looks like any of that so we’re gonna teach them all about very important especially now well that program will resume on Tuesday nights once the school begins I may have to take that class well anyway most 11-year olds are busy focusing these days on hobbies like sports and video games but a Florida 11 year old has other things
