Hello. In this video, we show how to set up the Jabra
Engage with a desk phone. Follow the instructions for the cable and
power connections before starting the actual setup. Start by plugging all the cables included
with the base, into the base. If you are connecting to a desk phone with
a dedicated headset port, plug the phone cable into the desk phone port on the base that
is marked with a blue desk phone icon. Next, plug the other end of the phone cable
into the dedicated headset port on the desk phone. If you are connecting to a desk phone without
a dedicated headset port, plug the phone cable into the desk phone port on the base that
is marked with a blue desk phone icon. Then remove the handset cable of the desk
phone from the handset port on the desk phone. Then plug the handset cable into the base
that is marked with a white handset. Finally, plug the other end of the phone cable
into the handset port on the desk phone. If you have purchased an additional Jabra
solution enabling remote call control between the desk phone and your Jabra headset, plug
this into the AUX port on the base. Follow the instructions included with the
Jabra solution, for how to connect to a specific desk phone. Or go to Jabra.com/support for more information. If you are connecting to a computer for softphone
telephony, the included USB cable also provides access to the settings and updates for your
Jabra product. For the Jabra Engage 75, use the USB port
marked with the text “PC”. For the Jabra Engage 75, you can optionally
use the USB cable to connect to a desk phone, for example, to enable headset audio and,
in some cases, remote call control. Acquire a suitable USB cable. Plug it into the base port marked with the
USB logo, and plug the other end into the dedicated USB port on the desk phone. Next, dock the headset, and then plug the
base into a power supply using the included AC adapter. Now you are ready to start the setup wizard
for Jabra Engage 75. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the
setup of the desk phone. If additional adjustments are needed for the
desk phone, such as adjusting the microphone transmit volume, go to the relevant section
in the settings menu. To adjust the microphone transmit level for
the desk phone, tap the ‘Menu’ icon to open the settings menu. Now use the ‘plus’ and ‘minus’ icons to increase
or decrease the transmit volume. Tap the ‘Accept’ icon to save the new setting. For Jabra Engage 65, the initial setup of
the desk phone is completed. If you need to make additional adjustments
to the desk phone, see the controls located at the bottom of the base. You can adjust the microphone transmit level,
by pressing the ‘plus’ or ‘minus’ button to increase or decrease the volume. You can also enable the audio gateway to and
from the desk phone, by using the dial tone switch. To learn more about specific desk phone settings
