How-to-rip CDs directly to MP3 digital audio files. Encoding the easy way for beginners!!!

hey guys just adding another video to my channel it's another how-to video on how to rip mp3s so this is the common way to do it nowadays and well this is really simple I could I'll do the video here and basically I mean how to do it will basically take about you know ten seconds here so that you can you know and I'll show you so that that way you can start ripping and get on with your day you know basically Windows Media Player has become it's basically sort of a what media media player has become is sort of a encoder flash player sort of a combo it's an encoder combo flash player so you can use it to encode audio files but it doesn't let you re encode audio files you have to be from from a hardcopy like a CD or whatever yeah I guess just CDs is what it takes but so yeah you know so it's kind of limited it's a little bit of a limited thing but it's a little better than I mean that method is a little better than using one of those old programs like audio grabber that thing survived hell and high water I mean that thing you know I remember when people were using audio grabber to put mp3s directly on websites and you download directly off of websites with with programs like that and and it's still around you can find those programs you know audio grabber is still around so so you can still use it but this is this is way better and and this is at least when at least from for this method of ripping a hard copy to encoding it so forth for that method it's good just for that method it's kind of sad that it doesn't let you re encode an audio file something that has been encoded it doesn't let you rien code I kind of like how what you would see with like handbrake video files you can rien code a video file that's been encoded unfortunately Windows Media Player doesn't let you do that it's just a straight hard copy to just you know first time in code which is kind of you know it's a little disappointing but anyway that this is the better method anyway you know it all depends you know how high quality you want it and what you're looking for but if you have a CD and you want to encode for the first time from a hard copy windows media players a way to go something like audio grabber there's probably something else out there that'll let you read codes but this is this is for the you know the the ladder or the former I mean so you know like I said this only takes like you know ten seconds here and I'll show you how to do it so you open it up you put your disk in you know your CD it will detect it automatically you really don't have to do a whole lot you can use these the the rip settings at the top of the screen you don't even have to go into all the other settings you can if you want to there's more Advanced Settings you can go into more settings but you just really it's right here and then what okay so you put the CD in it detects it right there rip settings there's really only two that you want to to change it over to so format you want to make sure it's an mp3 and once that's done and checked you go to audio quality and they're right there together those two settings audio quality I always turn it up to best quality 320 kilobits you know I don't see you know I honestly recommend using the highest you can there's no difference really in size with the others and you know that every every track is going to be the same they all rip at about 5 Meg so you know just keep it up on the highest and then that's it and then you just go ahead and hit rip CD and it says pending and that tracks kind of big right there so maybe that'll these these are all big tracks this isn't really a traditional audio CD this is a it's kind of a documentary audio kind of thing the secret you know it's not really these aren't really songs these are you know it's like a soundtrack kind of thing documentary kind of thing anyway but yeah that's going to take a minute because it's a big you know that one's 15 minutes that one seven nine but even then that's pretty quick right there for a 15 minute song it only takes about you know 10 seconds or 15 seconds so you can see how quick it does it and and that's that's it alright so boom done so that took about it was literally about a minute to rip those big fat tracks and these this is more than I mean this is really fills the whole CD and that's definitely seven hundred Meg all those tracks there and it took about a minute to encode at the highest quality seven hundred Meg the full CD so that's pretty nice and then here's an example here this these were ripped off of imports these were some audio tracks from Eureka Seven and dot hack they were import audio these were actual soundtracks and and you see how it shows up here's thought hack it shows up it was an a you know Asian import one of the CDs showed up like that and the other one kind of English so live but they were import so I don't know but sometimes it shows up kind of funny like that you know half asian half English or I mean half whatever the language is you know Japanese or whatever so yeah and then that's how it looks so so sometimes it doesn't grab or there's some missing information but it it you know the quality is just is this really high it's beautiful and there you go that's how you rip mp3s from a hard copy – to encoding it the first time all right well hope that helped out and have a good night
