How to Remove the Rear Speakers | HP Spectre x360 15 Convertible PC


Before you begin: Remove the two rubber feet, the base enclosure, the battery, the front speakers, the fans, the heat sink, the system board, and the DC-in connector. Removal Remove both the broad-head P1 Philips-head screw, and the P1 Philips-head screw that secure the left speaker to the top cover. Gently lift the left speaker off its alignment pins on the top cover and remove it. Remove the wireless LAN antenna cables from the cable guides on the rear side of the right speaker. Remove both the broad-head P1 Philips-head screw, and the P1 Philips-head screw that secure the right speaker to the top cover. Gently lift the right speaker off its alignment pins on the top cover and remove it. Replacement Place the left speaker on its alignment pins at the rear of the top cover. Replace both the broad-head P1 Philips-head screw, and the P1 Philips-head screw that secure the left speaker to the top cover. Place the right speaker on its alignment pins at the rear of the top cover. Replace both the broad-head P1 Philips-head screw, and the P1 Philips-head screw that secure the right speaker to the top cover. Route the wireless LAN antenna cables through the cable guides on the rear side of the right speaker.
