Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link – Unboxing + Setup

With your new
SoundTouch Wireless link you can turn your stereo or
home theater system wireless and stream the music from
your home Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices. Let’s start by carefully
unpacking the carton and confirm that the
following parts are included: The Bose SoundTouch
Wireless Link adapter. Power supply, an optical
to mini-optical cable, a 3.5mm stereo cable, a
3.5 mm female to RCA cable, And a quick start guide. Okay, with the
SoundTouch Wireless Link, you have two ways to
connect your audio system, digital optical and analog. The preferred method is to
connect with the optical to mini-optical cable. First, insert the
optical end of the cable into the optical in connector
on your audio system. Next, insert the other end
into the AUDIO OUT connector on your SoundTouch
Wireless Link. For an analog
connection, we will also use the AUDIO OUT connection as
it doubles as an analog output as well. Your audio system may have
either a 3.5 mm input, or an RCA input. We’ve included a 3.5 mm
cable, and an adapter to use with RCA connections. Insert one end of the
cable into the audio out connector on your
SoundTouch Wireless Link. Then, connect the other
end to your audio system, either directly into
a 3.5mm audio input, or into an RCA input
using the adapter. Now, let’s plug the power
cord into the power connector and the other end in
to an AC power outlet. Okay, now you’re ready to set
up and control your SoundTouch Wireless Link from your
smartphone or tablet. Simply download
the SoundTouch app onto a device connected
to your network. The app will then guide
you through setting up your SoundTouch Wireless
Link on your network. That’s it, if you have
