Alright- in order to use the AVR Studio 5.0,
click the Start button, and click AVR Studio. Let it load. You’re probably going to be using
C, so click “New Project”, and we’ll click “C Executable Project”. Type in the name of
your project that you are starting. Browse to a location that you want to use. You can
change the name, and click OK.Here you need to choose which chip you’re using. For the
most part we’ll be using the ATMega328. You can just type it right in. We’ll use the “p”
for this class. Click ok, and once it loads, you are ready to go. Start coding. Our next
video will show you how to write this code to your chip.
